James Ford

James Ford is an Associate Professor (Teaching) in the Centre for Engineering Education (CEE) at University College London (UCL) and serves as the Programme Lead for the Engineering Foundation Year, delivered at UCL East in Stratford. He previously held roles in the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering (CEGE) at UCL, where he taught design modules and contributed to professional skills development and admissions processes. He is actively involved with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), participating in panels such as the Further Learning Exams Panel and the Health, Wellbeing and Safety Leadership group.

James Ford holds the following academic qualifications:

• BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering with Diploma in Industrial Studies from Loughborough University (2004)
• MSc Civil Engineering with Industrial Placement from the University of Southampton (2007)
