James Daniels

James Daniels, M.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of Cardiology. He specializes in cardiac arrhythmias and directs the Pacemaker and Defibrillator Clinic at UT Southwestern.

• Bachelor's degrees in Cell Biology and Chemistry (with distinction and honors) from the University of Kansas
• Medical degree from UT Southwestern
• Internal Medicine residency and fellowship training at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center and UT Southwestern

His research focuses on MRI-compatible implantable cardiac devices and atrial fibrillation. Dr. Daniels is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
