Jakub Barbasz

Jakub Barbasz is a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher and habilitated doctor of chemistry, affiliated with the Jerzy Haber Institute of Catalysis and Surface Chemistry at the Polish Academy of Sciences in Kraków. He leads the research group Nano- and Microscale Systems there. Additionally, he is a member of CogniLab at Jagiellonian University and a senior postdoctoral researcher at Sano – Centre for Computational Personalised Medicine. He previously founded and held shares in Digitmed S.A.

Barbasz holds a Master's degree from the Faculty of Chemistry at Cracow University of Technology (2000), a PhD in chemical sciences (2006), and completed habilitation (2013). His research spans interdisciplinary fields including chemistry, computational/experimental medicine, physics, and psychology.

He currently leads research teams in nanoscale systems and collaborates across institutions, though no specific grants or awards are explicitly noted in the text.
