Jake Hamilton is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Architectural Engineering and Construction Science at Kansas State University (K-State). He holds a B.S. in Architectural Engineering from K-State (2005) and is pursuing a master’s degree in the same field. Licensed as a Professional Engineer in 37 states, he brings extensive industry experience, including roles at Henderson Engineers Inc. (electrical designer) and GPW and Associates (engineering team leader). He contributed to major projects like the Las Vegas Convention Center remodel/expansion and helped establish Henderson’s Las Vegas office. Currently, he serves as an assistant adviser for the Architectural Engineering Institute student chapter.
