Jake Goetz is an Associate Lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Wollongong's School of Arts, English and Media, where he teaches poetry and creative arts. He holds a Doctor of Creative Arts from Western Sydney University and has received prestigious fellowships including the Landhaus Research Fellowship at Germany's Rachel Carson Center (2024-25). His editorial leadership includes roles at Plumwood Mountain and founding Marrickville Pause.
