Dr. Jaishikha Nautiyal is an Assistant Professor of Communication Studies at Southwestern University, specializing in critical sensory rhetorics, queer theory, and posthuman thought. She holds a PhD from the University of Texas at Austin (2018), with prior degrees in Chemistry, Marketing, and Rhetoric.
Research Interests: Her work interrogates embodied knowledge systems, queer desi kinships, and anti-DEI legislation impacts. Notable projects include analyzing Guadagnino's Call Me by Your Name through queer aesthetics and co-authoring the award-winning Queer Desi Kinships (2023).
