Jamiee Wriston Colbert is a Professor at Binghamton University, Department of English, General Literature and Rhetoric. She is a SUNY Distinguished Professor and award-winning author of seven fiction books, including the 2021 International Book Award winner How Not to Drown and the Willa Cather Fiction Prize-winning debut Climbing the God Tree. Her work explores themes like environmental science, climate change, and 18th-19th century Highland Clearances.
