Jaime Eves is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Connecticut (Hartford campus) with over twenty-five years of university-level teaching experience in history. He holds a Ph.D. in American History from the University of Connecticut and an M.A. in American History from the University of Maine. Concurrently, he serves as Historian and former Director of the Windham Textile and History Museum in Willimantic, CT, and is the official town historian of Windham, CT.
Research Focus: Eves specializes in 18th-20th century American environmental/industrial history, New England regional studies, and public history. His current research examines the decline of the New England textile industry and its socioeconomic consequences. He emphasizes accessible, narrative-driven history and critiques oversimplified or politicized historical accounts.
His published works appear in journals like Technology and Culture, Connecticut History, and Maine History, with additional historical content featured on the Windham Textile & History Museum's website (www.millmuseum.org).
