Jaideep Shenoy

Jaideep Shenoy is an Associate Professor of Finance at the University of Connecticut (UConn) School of Business. Previously, he served as faculty at Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Georgia State University, an MBA from Virginia Tech, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from NIT Surathkal, India. His research focuses on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), labor-market interactions, product quality failures, and banking competition, with notable contributions to journals like the Journal of Finance and Management Science. He teaches courses on risk management, corporate finance, and financial markets. Prior to academia, he worked as a senior production engineer in a petroleum refinery in India.
