Dr. Jai-Pil Choi is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at California State University, Fresno. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin (2003) and completed postdoctoral training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, supported by the NSF Science and Technology Center. His research focuses on nanomaterials synthesis, electrochemistry, and their applications in sensing and energy systems. He teaches graduate/undergraduate courses in analytical chemistry, including CHEM 106 and CHEM 226. The Choi Lab explores nanomaterial functionalization, electrocatalysis for fuel cells, and sensor technologies based on electrogenerated chemiluminescence.
