Jafrin Jahan Jerin is a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Helsinki, affiliated with the Faculty of Biological and Environmental Sciences and the Ecosystems and Environment Research Programme. Her research focuses on environmental science, particularly in the areas of wastewater management and sustainable resource utilization.
Currently involved in the Puhdistamolietteen arvokomponentit (PULI) project (May 2023–November 2025), funded by Ministry of Finland, she collaborates on extracting valuable components from purification waste. Her field of interest aligns with biogeochemistry and soil-water conservation.
