Jaeyoung Lee

Jaeyoung Lee is an Associate Professor at the College of Pharmacy, Seoul National University, specializing in bioengineering and drug delivery systems. He previously served as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at Chungnam National University College of Pharmacy (2017-2023) and as a Senior Researcher at Seoul National University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (2016-2017). His academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Science from Seoul National University (2011-2016) and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the same institution.

His work addresses challenges in tumor targeting, penetration, and response-specific delivery through innovative nanotechnology and biomaterial engineering.

Recent publications highlight advancements in cancer-specific drug delivery systems, including zwitterionic cyclodextrin platforms for colorectal cancer, hemoglobin nanoclusters for cervical cancer therapy, and hyaluronic acid-based nanoassemblies for imaging. These works demonstrate his expertise in integrating nanotechnology with pharmaceutical science to solve clinical challenges in oncology and inflammatory diseases.
