Jaerock Kwon is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, with research focus on bio-inspired machine intelligence, autonomous vehicles, and computational neuroscience. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University (2009) and M.Sc./B.Sc. in Electronic Communication Engineering from Hanyang University.

His research spans Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Autonomous Vehicles, with notable projects including NSF-funded APIHYV platform development and Ford collaboration on AI system security.
