Jae Hyeung Kang is an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship at Oakland University's School of Business Administration, Department of Management and Marketing. He holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior & Entrepreneurship from The George Washington University and an MBA from the University of Maryland. His consulting experience at Accenture in South Korea shaped his research focus on radical organizational change, leadership, and entrepreneurial success. He has published in top journals like Organization Science and Journal of Business Venturing, with over 20 peer-reviewed articles to date.
Research & Teaching: His expertise spans Entrepreneurship, Leadership, and Cross-Cultural Management. He addresses topics such as innovation ecosystems, ethical practices in China, and ESG-driven corporate performance. Teaching interests include Organizational Behavior and Leadership.
Awards: Recipient of the 2023 ICSB Best Paper Award (Innovation Track), multiple Oakland University Research Fellowships, and recognition for teaching excellence. His work bridges theory and practice, emphasizing cultural contexts and human elements in organizational dynamics.
