Education:
- Ph.D. in Management (Finance), ESC Rennes, 2021
- MBA, American University of Science and Technology, Beirut, 2014
Research Focus: Bazih’s work sits at the intersection of corporate finance and institutional economics. He investigates how informal institutional factors—such as cultural norms and relational networks—shape financing choices of European SMEs and how derivative usage affects risk-return profiles of banks in emerging economies. His findings inform both scholarly debates and executive-education curricula on responsible financial innovation.
Recent Publications Trend: Across his two most recent papers (2021–2023) Bazih addresses dual themes: (i) the institutional drivers of SME financial innovation in Europe and (ii) the risk implications of derivative usage by emerging-market banks. Collectively the articles underline his interest in understanding how contextual institutions moderate corporate and banking sector financial behaviours.
Academic Service: Since 2024 he serves as a reviewer for an academic finance journal, contributing to the peer-review process in his discipline.
Programme Leadership & Grants: Since 2023 he directs two specialised master programmes at Audencia, overseeing curriculum design, accreditation compliance, student relations and growth initiatives. Earlier, at ISC Paris (2021-2023), he held programme responsibility for executive-education offerings, indicating sustained involvement in grant-seeking and corporate-funded training projects.
