Dr. Jacquetta Ayewoh is a Lecturer in English at Howard University's College of Arts & Sciences, teaching composition and literature courses. She holds a PhD from Morgan State University (2024), MA from Millersville University, and BA from Shippensburg University.
Her research explores African American literary traditions, Black gender representations, media studies, and cultural theory spanning the 19th-21st centuries. As co-advisor for Sigma Tau Delta, she helped organize the inaugural Virtual AI Conference (2024).
Prior experience includes secondary education administration in Pennsylvania, where she developed GED curricula and supervised teaching staff.
