Jacques Fierens is a Lecturer at the University of Namur (Faculty of Law) and a Visiting Professor at multiple institutions, including the University of Liege, University of Rwanda, and University of Burundi. His career spans over four decades, with expertise in philosophy of law, human rights, family law, international criminal law, and social assistance.

He has pioneered innovative legal technology projects, including mobile applications and web databases, to enhance legal accessibility and youth empowerment.

Grants and Projects: He has led major initiatives, such as the development of a web database for crimes against humanity and genocide research (1998), and the innovative mobile application "Mes droits au bahut" (2016-2018), which educates youth on legal rights.
