Jacqueline Tallent is a Research Fellow at the Sidney De Haan Research Centre for Arts and Health, Canterbury Christ Church University, within the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Social Care. She is also a PhD candidate in Forensic Psychiatry (School of Nursing), researching the social networks of mental health prisoners post-release.

Her research centers on arts and health in secure criminal justice settings, focusing on:
- Art-based interventions for mental health in prisons
- Social networks of released mental health prisoners
- Evidence mapping via the Campbell Collaboration EGM project
She leads the Campbell Collaboration project and collaborates on arts and health evaluations. As a PhD student, she does not supervise students.
Based at the Sidney De Haan Research Centre, she contributes to multidisciplinary teams evaluating arts and health impacts.
