Jacqueline Okere

Jacqueline Okere, MD, is an Assistant Professor and Vice Chair for Health Outcomes and Social Medicine in the Department of Emergency Medicine at McGovern Medical School, UTHealth Houston. She practices as a hospitalist at Memorial Hermann Hospital and TIRR Memorial Hermann, with a focus on medical education and health equity. As Clerkship Director for the Advanced Patient Care Hospitalist Elective (APC 4111), she has developed curricula and trained faculty, advanced practice providers, residents, and medical students. She has received the Dean’s Teaching Excellence Award multiple times.
