Jacqueline Garner is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Finance at Scheller College of Business, Georgia Institute of Technology. She holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Georgia State University and an MBA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her prior academic appointments include tenured positions at Drexel University and professorship at Mississippi State University, along with teaching roles at the University of Rhode Island, University of Delaware, and Korea University.
Her research centers on corporate finance, with a focus on initial public offerings (IPOs), corporate governance, and investment bank compensation. She has published in leading journals including The Journal of Finance, Journal of Corporate Finance, and Financial Management.
