Jacqueline Eaton is an Associate Professor at University of Utah's College of Nursing, with expertise in gerontology, arts-based interventions, and caregiver support. She has held multiple academic positions since 2003, including Adjunct Instructor, Research Assistant Professor, and Assistant Professor (2017-2024), and currently serves as Associate Professor.

Her research focuses on community-based participatory methods and arts-based interventions for aging populations, particularly caregivers of dementia patients. She developed the Enhancing Active Caregiver Training (EnACT) and KNACC programs to improve caregiver engagement and long-term care.
Recent publications address caregiver training, nurse emotional response to workplace violence, and age-inclusivity in nursing education. She holds an Orcid identifier 0000-0002-2229-5503.

Teaching & Leadership
Dr. Eaton teaches Aging and the Arts, Research Methods in Aging, and Faculty Consultation at University of Utah. She served as Assistant Dean of Gerontology Interdisciplinary Program (2017-2021) and co-investigator for age-friendly university initiatives.
