Jacobo Paredes Puente is an Associate Professor at the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Science, within Tecnun School of Engineering at the University of Navarra. He holds dual Master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering (2007) and Biomedical Engineering (2009) from the same institution.
His research focuses on developing 3D tissue models using polymeric scaffolds with customized mechanical and morphological properties, alongside work on biomedical devices for diagnostics and therapeutics. He also emphasizes innovative projects and technology transfer.
He teaches Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering courses at both undergraduate and master's levels.
