Jacobo Myerston is an Associate Professor in the Department of Literature and the Program in Classical Studies at the University of California, San Diego. He holds a Ph.D. in Ancient Mediterranean Studies from the University of Chicago, along with M.A. degrees in Greek Philology and Comparative Religions from the University of Tübingen, Germany. His research integrates computational sociology, digital humanities, and cultural studies to analyze ancient Greek and Sumero-Akkadian texts. He also explores Latin American intellectual engagement with antiquity.
