Jacob Katz Cogan is a Professor at the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where he teaches contracts, international business transactions, international tax, property, and public international law. He holds a JD from Yale Law School, MA and PhD in History from Princeton University, and BA from the University of Pennsylvania magna cum laude.
- Research Focus: Operational international legal systems, history of international law, and international organizations.
- Editorial Roles: Faculty Director of the Cincinnati Center for the Global Practice of Law, Deputy Editor of the Human Rights Quarterly, and member of editorial boards for multiple journals.
- Honors: U.S. Department of State's Superior Honor Award, Francis Deák Prize (2010), Goldman Prize for Excellence in Teaching, Harold C. Schott Scholarship Award.
