Jacob Dugas is an Associate Professor of Drawing and Printmaking in the Department of Visual Arts at McNeese State University, part of the College of Liberal Arts. He holds an M.F.A. in Printmaking from the University of South Dakota and a B.A. in Visual Arts with concentrations in Printmaking and Graphic Design from McNeese State University. His office is located in SFA 119B.

Professor Dugas's research and artistic practice balance traditional and experimental approaches, encompassing traditional portraiture, landscape, experimental screenprinting, mixed media collage, and drawing, all exploring the human experience. His work has been exhibited in prestigious venues such as the National Paper in Particular Exhibit and the National Works on Paper.
He is actively engaged in the regional arts community, assisting with programming at the Imperial Calcasieu Museum and Historic City Hall, and encourages student participation in the Annual Print Thing Printmaking Symposium. Within the department, he serves on committees for accreditation, recruiting, and assessment.
