Jackie Kopcsak is an Associate Professor at the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance and a founding faculty member. She currently serves as Assistant Dean of Programming and Special Projects, having previously held the role of Assistant Dean of Faculty from 2020-2023. Kopcsak teaches ballet technique, pointe, variations, composition, repertory, dance appreciation, history, and theory courses.

Kopcsak’s research and artistic focus spans ballet, dance history, and the intersection of dance with visual arts, particularly inspired by French culture and the Belle Époque era. Her choreographic works have been commissioned by institutions like the Norton Simon Museum, LACMA, and Pacific Symphony. She holds an M.F.A. in Dance from UC Irvine and a B.A. in History from the University of Washington, Seattle.
Her notable projects include directing USC Kaufman’s first international tour to Fürth, Germany (2022) and curating performances such as 'PAIR/US' at the Norton Simon Museum, inspired by Parisian art and history. Kopcsak actively collaborates with orchestras and museums, emphasizing the synthesis of dance, music, and visual culture.
