Jack Stetter is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Loyola University New Orleans, USA. His scholarly work focuses on Spinoza's philosophy, particularly metaphysics, philosophy of mind, and political theory. He co-edited the anthology Spinoza in Twenty-First-Century American and French Philosophy (2019), which bridges contemporary American and French Spinoza scholarship. His research includes analyses of Spinoza's accounts of causation, necessity, and reason, as well as contributions to debates on the mind-body problem. Stetter has also published on Deleuze's metaphilosophy and Spinoza's Political Treatise. He co-organizes the Séminaire Spinoza à Paris 8, reflecting his transatlantic academic engagement. His work emphasizes interdisciplinary dialogue within early modern philosophy.
