Jack Reynolds is Professor of Philosophy at Deakin University, Fellow of the Australian Academy of Humanities, and Member of the ARC College of Experts. His research bridges phenomenology, cognitive science, and psychopathology, with current NHMRC-funded projects on Tourette Syndrome. He leads doctoral supervision across existentialism, embodied cognition, and political philosophy.
Recent publications critically engage predictive processing models, temporal experience, and neurodiversity. His work advocates interdisciplinary 'hybrid epistemologies' combining continental philosophy with natural sciences.
Reynolds directs research on psychedelic temporality and neurophenomenology, emphasizing first-person accounts in psychopathology. His editorial roles include the Bloomsbury Handbook of Existentialism.
