Jack M. Balkin is the Knight Professor of Constitutional Law and the First Amendment at Yale Law School. He directs the Information Society Project, the Abrams Institute for Freedom of Expression, and the Knight Law and Media Program. His work bridges constitutional theory, digital governance, and free speech, with a focus on how historical narratives shape legal interpretation.
