Jack Lee is the Cullen Trust for Higher Education Endowed Professor in Engineering in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, where he has served since 1988 after earning his PhD from UC Berkeley.
His educational background includes:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, University of California at Los Angeles, 1980
- M.S. in Electrical Engineering, University of California at Los Angeles, 1981
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, University of California at Berkeley, 1988
Research spans semiconductor device physics, fabrication, and reliability, with focus areas including high-K dielectrics, alternative channel materials, and semiconductor memory applications. His work bridges fundamental device characterization with industrial semiconductor R&D.
