Jacimaria Batista is a Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Construction at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), where she also holds the Southwest Gas Professor of Renewable Energy chair. With over 26 years at UNLV, she has dedicated her career to advancing water/wastewater treatment technologies and renewable energy integration in environmental systems.
