Jacek Trzewik

Dr. Jacek Trzewik serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Law and Private International Law at the Institute of Legal Sciences, Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration, John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. His academic career spans multiple research domains with particular expertise in civil law, inheritance law, and environmental law. The faculty where he teaches represents one of Poland's most prominent institutions for legal studies, especially in canon law and civil law traditions.

Professor Trzewik's research interests focus primarily on testamentary law, inheritance regulations, and civil law transactions, with significant contributions to Polish civil code interpretation. His work demonstrates a strong connection between theoretical legal concepts and practical applications, particularly regarding wills, testamentary burdens, and inheritance disputes. He has also made notable contributions to environmental law, especially concerning property rights and monument conservation.
