Jaana Hallamaa is a Professor of Social Ethics at the University of Helsinki's Faculty of Theology, Department of Systematic Theology. She serves as Vice Principal Investigator in the ETAIROS project (Ethical AI Governance funded by Finland's Strategic Research Council), member of the Kone Foundation's corruption research project, and Chair of the National Advisory Board on Social Welfare and Health Care Ethics. Her research focuses on ethical challenges in sociotechnical systems, AI ethics, and recognition theory.
