Jaakko Suutala is an Associate Professor in the Biomimetics and Intelligent Systems Group (BISG) at the Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering, University of Oulu, Finland. His work focuses on integrating machine learning, statistical signal processing, and data science to advance autonomous systems with applications in health technologies, environment modeling, sensor fusion, and robotics.
