Jaakko Peltonen is a Professor of Statistics and Data Analysis at Tampere University, Faculty of Information Technology and Communication Sciences, Department of Computing Sciences. He leads the Statistical Machine Learning and Exploratory Data Analysis (SMiLE) research group and is affiliated with the Tampere Research Center in Information and Systems and the Academy of Finland Center of Excellence in Game Culture Studies.
