JULIA REY BRANDARIZ

Júlia Rey Brandariz is an Assistant Professor at the University of Santiago de Compostela, affiliated with the Faculty of Nursing and the Department of Psychiatry, Radiology, Public Health, Nursing and Medicine. Her primary research group is ESPASS (Epidemiology, Public Health and Health Services Evaluation). She holds a PhD in Public Health from the University of Santiago de Compostela, focusing on tobacco-attributable mortality in Spain.

Her research interests include tobacco control policies, mortality attributable to environmental exposures, alcohol and substance use epidemiology, and health services evaluation. She has conducted studies on secondhand smoke exposure, radon mitigation, energy drink consumption trends, and sedentary behavior analysis.
