ALBERTO RUANO RAVIÑA

Alberto Ruano Raviña is a Full Professor at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry and the Department of Psychiatry, Radiology, Public Health, Nursing, and Medicine. His primary research focuses on epidemiology, environmental health risks, and public health policy, with a special emphasis on lung cancer etiology, radon exposure, and tobacco control strategies. He leads the ESPASS research group (Epidemiology, Public Health, and Healthcare Evaluation) and is part of the CRETUS interdisciplinary research center.
