JOSE MANUEL PALACIOS ALBERTI

JOSE MANUEL PALACIOS ALBERTI is a University Professor at the Technical University of Madrid (UPM) in the Department of Biotechnology - Plant Biology. Since 2010, he has held this position and serves as Principal Investigator of the research group 'Multidisciplinary Approaches at the Plant-Microorganism Interface'. He is also the Director of the School of Agronomic, Food and Biosystems Engineering (ETSIAAB) until June 2025 and is affiliated with the Center for Plant Biotechnology and Genomics (CBGP), a UPM-INIA Joint Center.

His research spans multiple disciplines including:

• Plant-microbe interactions and biotechnology applications
• Molecular mechanisms in crop science and microbiology
• Ecological and evolutionary dynamics in biological systems
