JING LU

Jing Lu is a Lecturer in Chinese language and linguistics at the University of Roma Tre's Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures (2004–2023). She has extensive teaching experience in Chinese language education at multiple institutions including the University of International Studies of Rome and Gregorio VII University. Her professional roles include examiner for national teacher competitions and commissioner for Chinese language assessments.

Education: Bachelor's in Modern and Contemporary Italian Literature from the University of Rome 'La Sapienza' (1996, cum laude) and studies at Beijing Graduate University (1986–1989).

Research interests focus on Chinese language pedagogy and cultural exchange, as evidenced by conference presentations such as 'Teaching Tang Dynasty Poetry at RomaTre University' (2013) and 'My Story of Integration in Italy' (2009). She has also contributed to cross-cultural dialogues through interpreting work for high-profile events like the 2011 visit of Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and the 2015 Guangdong delegation meeting with Italian PM Matteo Renzi at Palazzo Chigi.

Jing Lu has served as simultaneous/consecutive interpreter for major institutions including the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Palazzo Venezia exhibitions, and international forums on trade, religion, and healthcare. Her work bridges Italian and Chinese cultural, political, and economic exchanges since the early 2000s.
