JIANG Fan

Jiang Fan, PhD, is a Research Assistant Professor at the Center for Higher Education Research at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech). He holds a PhD in Management from the Institute of Higher Education at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (2019) and completed postdoctoral work at SUSTech.

His research focuses on science of science, scientometrics, research evaluation, science and technology policy, academic excellence, and talent mobility. He has published over ten articles in journals such as Scientometrics and Higher Education Research, and has led national and municipal research projects including the 2020 National Social Science Fund (Education) Youth Project and China Postdoctoral Science Foundation grants.

Jiang is also a key contributor to consulting projects commissioned by the Shenzhen Municipal Decision-making Advisory Committee and Talent Work Bureau. He has translated and edited books on first-class university evaluation and young faculty career development.
