J.L. Sturge is an Assistant Professor with the Interaction Design (IxD) group at the University of Twente's Faculty of Engineering Technology, Department of Design, Production and Management. Their work bridges health geography and design research to create healthcare environments and systems that prioritize positive health outcomes through inclusive, accessible, and socially sustainable approaches.
- Research Focus: Intersection of built, social, and technological environments in healthcare, emphasizing healthcare transformation, citizen science, and at-home hospitalization practices.
