Rev. Dr. J.D. Reed Jr. serves as an Adjunct Professor at Palmer Theological Seminary, Eastern University, and is integral to the Master of Theological Studies Latino/a Ministries (MTS) program as both professor and administrative team member. He acts as administrative coordinator and liaison for International Ministries across Iberoamerica and the Caribbean, focusing on pastor and church leader development.

His research centers on contextual theological education in Latin American urban settings, with emphasis on Latino/a ministries and at-risk populations. Through Fundación Proyecto de Esperanza (FPE) in Bolivia, he integrates health and development initiatives with church-led outreach to women and children, reflecting practical applications of cross-cultural ministry and leadership formation.
Dr. Reed oversees FPE operations in Cochabamba and Santa Cruz alongside his wife, building on fifteen years of pastoral experience in West Virginia Baptist churches prior to cross-cultural work. His advisory role spans regional partnerships with International Ministries to strengthen ecclesiastical leadership capacity.
He collaborates with global servants across the region while maintaining administrative responsibilities for the MTS program’s implementation and strategic direction.
