Prof. J. Philipp Benz is an Associate Professor at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in the TUM School of Life Sciences, leading the Chair of Fungal Biotechnology in Wood Science. He holds roles such as Chair of the Examination Board for Life Sciences programs and spokesperson for the VAAM specialist group on fungal biology.
