J. Mikhail Kellawan

J. Mikhail Kellawan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health and Exercise Science at the University of Oklahoma. His research focuses on cardiovascular physiology and its intersections with metabolic and neurocognitive conditions.

• Education: B.Sc. in Human Kinetics (University of Guelph), M.Sc. in Occupational Exercise Physiology (University of Victoria), Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology (Queen’s University)

His research explores peripheral vascular control, autonomic cardiovascular regulation, and mechanisms linking cardiovascular diseases with conditions like hypertension, diabetes, and cancer treatment effects. He also investigates microneurography and physiological overlaps between cardiovascular and neurocognitive disorders.

Courses taught include HES 3853 Exercise Testing and Prescription and HES 6823 Cardiorespiratory Exercise Physiology.
