J. Leigh Garcia is an Associate Professor at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, specializing in printmaking. Her work explores themes of racial and generational privilege/oppression within Mexican-American communities, using printmaking, papermaking, and sculpture. She holds an MFA and MA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BFA from the University of North Texas.
