J. Gay Albright

J. Gay Albright is the Associate Dean of Academic Programs at the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business, University of Missouri. She holds the David and Judy O’Neal MBA Professor title and oversees undergraduate/graduate programs, global initiatives, and academic recruitment. Her roles include leadership of study abroad programs and the MU International Trade Center, which received the US Presidential E-Award under her representation.

Education: EdD in Educational Leadership (University of Missouri, 2019), MBA (Saint Louis University, 1992), BS in Business Education (Missouri State University, 1984).

Research focuses on curriculum design for business student development, HR recruiting systems, and active learning classroom impacts. She pioneered the College’s Professional Development Program (Edge) and managed the Missouri Training Institute (2006–2012). Prior to academia, she worked 15 years in HR roles at Colgate-Palmolive, The Dial Corp, and Arch Coal, implementing organizational redesign and training programs.

Awards include the 2016 Presidential E-Award recognizing her leadership in international trade initiatives.
