İşık ATASOY is a Lecturer at the Department of Nursing within the Faculty of Health Sciences at Sakarya University. She holds a Master's degree in Health Sector Mobbing from Sakarya University's Social Sciences Institute. Her primary roles include teaching courses such as Management in Nursing Profession, Clinical Practice, Women's Health Nursing, and Entrepreneurship in Project Management.

Her research interests focus on nursing education innovations, maternal and public health nursing, healthcare management, and workplace bullying in healthcare. She has led projects like the Tubitak 1005 research project on healthcare innovations and contributed to patent development for injection site measurement tools.
Her articles explore topics such as entrepreneurship perceptions among nursing students, emotional labor in midwives, and anxiety assessment in pregnant women. Recent research includes innovations in intramuscular injection techniques and the development of an anxiety scale for laboring women.
