Izabela Dahl is a Senior Lecturer in History at Örebro University's School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences, specializing in modern European history. Her research spans migration and refugee history, Holocaust studies, antisemitism, European memory cultures, and Baltic Sea region diplomacy, with a focus on gender, social power structures, and oral sources.
Her academic contributions include co-editing Förintelsen & Sverige (2025) with Karin Kvist Geverts and analyzing epistemic violence in Texter om våld (2024). Current projects investigate women's humanitarian efforts in Sweden and Cold War-era Polish-Swedish diplomatic relations. She teaches chronological history, migration courses, and Holocaust perspectives, while co-coordinating networks like Politics, Citizenship & Nations at ESSHC.
