Iván Tirado-Cordero

Iván Tirado-Cordero, Ph.D., serves as an Adjunct Faculty member in the Communication, Film and Media Studies Department at the University of New Haven’s College of Arts and Sciences. His interdisciplinary background combines education in instructional design with expertise in creative arts and media, fostering engaging learning experiences that emphasize critical and creative thinking.

• B.A. in Humanities (Fine Arts), University of Puerto Rico - Mayagüez

Dr. Tirado integrates cognitive, affective, and behavioral dimensions into his teaching, exploring how personal and environmental factors influence learning. His specialties include health benefits of the creative process, inquiry-based learning, and fine arts techniques like sculpting and painting.
