Ivy Munoko is an Assistant Professor at the University of Florida's Warrington College of Business, specializing in the Fisher School of Accounting. With a PhD from Rutgers University (2022), her work bridges artificial intelligence, auditing, and fraud detection, focusing on ethical AI applications in financial oversight.
- Education: PhD (2022), MS (2015) from Rutgers University; BSc (2008) from Jomo Kenyatta University.
Her research explores how AI can enhance auditing practices, regulatory compliance, and fraud prevention. Recent work includes AI-driven forensic accounting tools and ethical frameworks for algorithmic accountability.
She received the NSF CAREER Award in 2024 for her AI research. Her 2020 publication in the Journal of Business Ethics addresses AI ethics in auditing.
